Prior to becoming the founder & CEO of Vesper Wealth Advisors, James spent 12 years within the ranks of J.P. Morgan in the Private Bank across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Following his graduation with a degree in Economics & Communications from Denison University, James began his career in the customized credit and home equity lending division. After two years in this role, he was asked to relocate to Geneva, Switzerland where James took on the role of business manager for the head of credit & lending operations for the EMEA region.

During this three-year assignment, he created new operations teams and led initiatives in the credit middle office across Geneva, Switzerland & Edinburgh, Scotland. This experience greatly contributed to his expertise within the private bank markets across the EMEA region.

Upon the completion of the project, James moved to New York City where he spent two years as a business manager for the global head of the Deposits and Custody platforms.

For his last 5 years with the firm, James was a UHNW Private Banker focused on the Middle East region within the Global Families Group. He held his series 7 and 63 securities licenses.

During these five years, James spent most of his time with clients in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. This allowed him to develop a special understanding and passion for the region and its culture.

James departed J.P. Morgan in May of 2024 with the purpose of founding Vesper Wealth Advisors LTD within the Abu Dhabi Global Markets “ADGM” financial center.

In his free time, he enjoys golf, cross-country skiing, tennis, hiking, and traveling with his wife Anita.
